Digitization Approaches for Energy Efficiency in Industry

The Workshop Digitization Approaches for Energy Efficiency in Industry was an excellent opportunity to expose the impact that Digitization measures for Energy Efficiency have on Industry.

The workshop took an interdisciplinary approach in addressing issues such as:

• Sustainable development

• Renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE)

• Industry 4.0

• Innovation funds for energy efficiency

• Equipment

• Pilot Projects

• National and German Context on the topic of Digitalization in Industries

 

The 4 hour-long Workshop began with the opening speech of the government representatives of the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Brazil, Mr. Carlos Pires and Mrs. Ursula Borak, of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy of Germany. Both highlighted efforts to develop opportunities for the application of Digitization and Encouragement to Renewable Energies in both countries.
